Account & Profile
How do I create an account on DamImages?
Creating an account is easy! Click on the "Register" button in the top right corner. You can sign up as either a Photographer or a Studio. Fill in your details including username, email, password, and phone number. After registration, you'll need to verify your email and follow our social media accounts to complete verification.
How do I reset my password?
If you forgot your password, click on "Forgot Password?" on the login page. Enter your registered email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Click the link in the email to create a new password. The reset link expires in 1 hour for security reasons.
How do I edit my profile information?
Once logged in, go to your Dashboard and click on "Edit Profile" or visit your profile page and click the edit button. You can update your bio, profile picture, cover image, contact information, and social media links. Changes are saved immediately.
How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, go to Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account Permanently. You'll need to type "DELETE" to confirm. This action is irreversible and will remove all your photos, albums, and data from our platform. We recommend downloading your data before deleting.
For Photographers
How do I upload my first photo?
Go to your Dashboard and click "Upload Photo" or use the upload button in the navigation menu. Select an image file (JPG, PNG, WEBP - max 5MB), add a caption, choose a category, and click publish. Your photo will appear in your portfolio and the main gallery.
How do I create an album?
Click "Create Album" from your Dashboard. Give your album a title and description, upload a cover image, and add multiple photos with individual captions. You can set the album as public or private, and even password protect it for exclusive access.
How do I get more followers?
To grow your following, consistently upload high-quality photos, engage with other photographers by liking and commenting, share your portfolio on social media, use relevant hashtags in your captions, and complete your profile with a professional bio and profile picture.
For Studios
How do I list my studio services?
Edit your studio profile and fill in the "Services" section. List all the services you offer separated by commas (e.g., Wedding Photography, Portrait Sessions, Commercial Shoots). You can also set your price range and add your studio address and contact information.
How do I manage booking requests?
All booking requests appear in your Dashboard under the "Bookings" section. You can view client details, event date, location, and message. Accept, reject, or mark bookings as completed. Clients receive email notifications when you update the booking status.

How do I book a photographer or studio?
Browse our Photographers or Studios section, find a professional you like, and click "Book Now". Fill in the booking form with your event details including date, location, and any special requirements. You'll receive a confirmation email once your request is submitted.
How long does it take to get a response?
Most photographers and studios respond within 24 hours. You'll receive an email notification when your booking status changes. You can also check your Dashboard under "Bookings" to see real-time updates.
Do I need to pay upfront?
Payment terms are negotiated directly with the photographer or studio. Some may require a deposit to secure the date, while others may bill after the event. Discuss payment details before confirming your booking.

Is DamImages free to use?
Yes! DamImages is completely free for both photographers/studios and clients. There are no subscription fees or commission charges. We believe in supporting the creative community without financial barriers.
How do photographers get paid?
Payments are handled directly between you and the client. We recommend using secure payment methods like bank transfer, mobile money, or payment platforms. Discuss payment terms and methods before the event.
Technical
What image formats are supported?
We support JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WEBP formats. Maximum file size is 5MB per image. For best quality, we recommend using JPEG or WEBP with optimized compression.
How long do stories last?
Stories expire automatically after 24 hours. This creates a sense of urgency and keeps content fresh. You can post multiple stories, and they'll appear in a carousel for your followers to view.
Is my data secure?
Yes! We take security seriously. All passwords are hashed, we use CSRF protection, SQL injection prevention, and secure sessions. Your personal information is never shared with third parties without your consent.
Can I access DamImages on mobile?
Absolutely! DamImages is fully responsive and works on all mobile devices. You can upload photos, manage your profile, and respond to bookings directly from your smartphone or tablet.
